Use IsoBuster (not EAC) to test reading of Hidden Track One Audio

When burning your HTOA test image with EAC with HL-DT-ST GSA-4120B or -4163B, the written CD contains the hidden track and the drive can read it back. But EAC doesn't show it (nothing red or the like). But IsoBuster, for instance, correctly displays and extracts it.

So I'ld recommand IsoBuster for trying to read HTOA (after writing with EAC).

there are two tracks to show

IsoBuster shows how it should look like: Two tracks, not just one. (One hidden and one not hidden.) EAC will only show one track (if red or not).

Is it possible that your drive doesn't write the data correctly? Do you have pressed discs with hidden track one audio content and do they display in red?
You say that IsoBuster correctly displays it and extracts it? How do you know what it's displaying is correct. You're going to have to provide some more information about what's happening to convince me. smiling smiley
