Test Results
Audiophile 2496, Transit and SE W800i These are the results of testing my M-Audio Audiophile 2496, M-Audio Transit and the RealTek 97 (onboard Sony Vaio laptop) soundcards. I also included my Sony Ericsson W800i in the test. The results were measured with the Audiophile 2496.

Audiophile 2496 and Transit A straight forward comparison of the M-Audio Audiophile and M-Audio Transit. The results were measured with the Audiophile 2496.

iPod 20GB Measurements of the 2nd generation iPod 20GB. The results were measured with the Transit.

iPod Mini 4GB Measurements of the iPod Mini 4GB. The results were measured with the Transit.

iPod Nano 2GB Measurements of the 2nd generation iPod Nano 2GB. These measurements were taken independantly by Sebastian Mares.

iPod Nano 8GB Measurements of the 2nd generation iPod Nano 8GB with firmware 1.0.2. This device does not measure well at all. It should be noted these results are so strange that no conclusions should be made. Even though I made this test myself, several times with the same results, I would like to see more results from others. The results were measured with the Transit.

K750i Measurements of the Sony Ericsson K750i mobile phone. The results were measured with the Transit.

W800i, W810i, K800i Meaurements of the Sony Ericsson W800i, W810i and the K800i. The results were measured with the Transit.

W880i Meaurements of the Sony Ericsson W880i. The results were measured with the Audiophile 2496.

A table has been created collecting the results from the above tests in one place.
